Marriage Feast During #COVID19 Lockdown In Odisha Stopped After Police Raid

This is a banquet hall (Kalyan Mandap) at Gopinathpur under Hinjilicut of Ganjam district. On Friday (May 21st) a marriage was organized here and a big feast had been planned. Food was prepared for as many as 1000 guests invited to the wedding. But police & administration authorities including the BDO ended up at the marriage venue. After the raid, the authorities stopped the feast and distributed the food door-to-door.
