Actress Kangana Ranaut was all praises for the movie 'Shershaah' which released on Amazon Prime Video. However, she deliberately refrained from mentioning the producer of the film, Karan Johar, with whom she has a long-standing feud.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Thursday, Kangana posted a picture of Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain Vikram Batra, who attained martyrdom in the 1999 Kargil War. Kangana wrote that National hero Vikram Batra was a Himachali boy from Palampur, who was very popular and a loved soldier. When the tragedy happened, news spread like wildfire in Himachal. Kangana further added that as a kid the incident had tormented her for days.
Kangana then shared a picture of actor Sidharth Malhotra, who had played Captain Vikram Batra in 'Shershaah', which is co-produced by Karan's Dharma Productions. Kangana then in another Instagram story commended Sidharth for ‘a glorious tribute’ while tagging him. Kangana then congratulated the entire team saying that it was ‘a big responsibility’ and everyone 'excelled'.
The actress, who is often surrounded by controversies, hit the headlines in 2017 when she called filmmaker Karan Johar ‘intolerant’ towards outsiders and a ‘flag bearer of nepotism’.
