Odisha is very likely to experience another rainy spell this week. Under the influence of an expected cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal, rainfall is likely to return this weekend.
This information was shared by India Meteorological Department DG, Mrutyunjay Mohapatra. Speaking to OTV, Mohapatra said that rainfall activity is expected to decline in coastal areas while it is likely to increase in interior and western parts of Odisha.
The IMD DG said that round September 17th another cyclonic circulation is expected to form over North Bay of Bengal and it is likely to reach North Odisha coast on September 18th.
