Odisha will continue to see deficit rainfall during the month of August. Since 1st June, 33% deficit rainfall has been recorded in Odisha. Similarly, in the month of August, 55% deficit rainfall has been recorded. The Director General of India Meterological Department (IMD) Mrutyunjay Mohapatra shared this information while speaking on the rainfall situation in Odisha this monsoon. According to the IMD Chief, Odisha is not likely to receive any significant monsoon rain in the month of August.
