A boy from Odisha has managed to make it big in Bollywood! The person we are talking about here is K.Raju from Berhampur. Raju, who set out to the tinsel town with dreams in his eyes has made the state proud by becoming one of the most sought after hairstylists in Bollywood.
Armed with ample experience and exposure, Raju has also successfully started his own chain of salons and is currently operating 6 branches under him.
And not just that, there are several celebrities who have vouched for Raju's expertise and skills! Raju's expertise has helped decorate the crowning glory of many Bollywood actors and actresses as well such as Malaika Arora, Disha Patani, Varun Dhawan, Meezaan Jaffrey, Anusha Dandekar and even Indian Idol Winner, Pawandeep Rajan!
Meanwhile, Raju says that he got the inspiration to become an ace hairstylist after watching his father work as one during his childhood days. However, the hunger to learn and hone his craft, compelled Raju to push boundaries.
Raju says that he took lessons from the best in the country and abroad after which he got his big break to work in Bollywood. Raju says that after struggling to learn and work on his skills both in India and abroad, he has learn that such skills are hard to find in the country.
So for the future, Raju hopes to teach passionate people from underprivileged backgrounds and help them build themselves from the ground up, just the way he managed to do himself.
