Ever since his golden throw at the Tokyo Olympics, Spear Man Neeraj Chopra has become a national sensation and heartthrob among all youths, especially girls. But many of them hardly took any time to switch their crush from the Olympics star to actor Sidharth Malhotra after release of ‘Shershaah’.
Nevertheless, the very fact that lead actors in Shershaah - Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are themselves big fans of Neeraj Chopra is enough to justify who actually is the real national hero.
Recently, during a promotional event for their film ‘Shershaah’, both Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra heaped praises on the 23-year-old Olympics gold medalist for his outstanding show in Tokyo. During the interview (with Sports Yaari), the stars were asked about Neeraj Chopra who catapulted to becoming a national hero after winning the country’s first gold in Olympics history in track and field event. The response of Kiara and Sidharth was truly heartwarming.
Sidharth tagged Neeraj as the real ‘Shershaah’ who made the country proud. Of all the fans, Neeraj Chopra has also found a new fan in Kiara Advani. Kiara in her response said she thinks Neeraj is not just a national crush but the world’s crush right now.
Both Sidharth and Kiara have garnered lot of appreciation for their work in ‘Shershaah’, a biopic based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra. Sidharth also wants to reunite with his rumoured girlfriend Kiara for another film.
