After remaining closed for months amid the second wave of the Covid-19 lockdown restriction, the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar reopened for devotees on Wednesday.
The temple reopened adhering to all the Covid-19 protocols. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a set of guidelines for the devotees, sevayats, staff and other temple officials to prevent spread of the Covid-19 virus.
As per the guidelines, darshan of Lord Lingaraj will be allowed from Ada Katha (wooden wall inside the temple). Apart from this, it is mandatory for the devotees to furnish double doses vaccination certificate (either digital or print document) to be allowed entry into the temple.
