Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone extended a helping hand to save the life of the acid attack survivor Bala who is currently struggling for life. Deepika Padukone was the new found hope for the acid attack survivor, who is suffering from a life-threatening kidney ailment.
As per reports, Bala urgently needs a kidney transplant to survive. Deepika Padukone generously donated amount of Rs 10,00,000 to the 'Save Bala' campaign after she heard about Bala’s condition.
The movie 'Chhapaak', directed by Meghna Gulzar, staring Deepika Padukone featured Bala who has also appeared in 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. According to sources, Bala’s condition is deteriorating every day due to kidney failure. Bala has somehow managed to survive on dialysis.
Bala has a weakened immunity due to the history of acid attack on her. Chhanv Foundation is seeking support for Bala as she still requires further financial assistance to come out of this tragedy. The crowd funding platform 'Milaap' has begun the fundraising campaign 'Save Bala' for assisting the acid attack survivor.
