Heavy rainfall was witnessed near Dhamra coast, while wind speed has picked up in the region as the landfall time approaches near. Winds with speeds likely around 40-50 kmph were experienced in the area on Tuesday afternoon disrupting movement & visibility. IMD has predicted storm surge in Dhamra coast as Cyclone Yaas crosses the coast. Administration has made all arrangements and evacuation in the area is being carried out.
