All eyes are now on Dhamra in Bhadrak district which is expected to be the landfall spot for Cyclone Yaas. Heavy rainfall was witnessed near Dhamra coast, while wind speed has picked up in the region as the landfall time approaches near. Winds with speeds likely around 40-50 kmph were experienced in the area on Tuesday afternoon disrupting movement & visibility. IMD has predicted storm surge in Dhamra coast as Cyclone Yaas crosses the coast. Administration has made all arrangements and evacuation in the area is being carried out.
