Covid19 Vaccine Is Safe For Pregnant Women: Odisha Family Welfare Director

Covid-19 vaccines are safe for pregnant women and the vaccines would be administered to them as per the guidelines issued by the government. This information was shared by the Odisha Family Welfare Director, Bijay Panigrahi on Thursday (July 8). Panigrahi stated that frontline workers, ASHA, Anganwadi and all health workers will be trained to administer the vaccines to pregnant women. He said that special waiting rooms will be set-up at all vaccination centres so that the women don’t have to stand in queue with others.
