CBSE is most likely to end the suspense this week. The prolonged wait of Class 12 students regarding evaluation criteria this year is finally going to end on Wednesday or latest by Thursday. While the decision was supposed to be announced today (June 14), reports suggest that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is unlikely to release the Board Exam evaluation criteria today.
Once the marking criteria are decided, the Board will work on evaluating the results of the students. And in all probability, all the students would be promoted this year. As per sources, the 13-member expert panel had asked for a two day extension which was granted and the panel would be submitting the final report by June 16.
The report would also be presented before the public on the same day. It is pertinent to mention that petitioners had earlier asked that the marks be evaluated only on the basis of internal marks. Additionally, there are reports that previous year's results are also under consideration to set the new evaluation criteria for Class 12th Board exams.
