The process of marking for Class 10 exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun. The link is now active on the CBSE website for schools to upload the marks based on the assessment of students. As per the assessment criteria set by the CBSE, students will be given 20 marks based on internal assessment. The rest 80 marks will be based on the new criteria decided by the board. These 80 marks will be awarded based on different tests and exams conducted by the school during the academic year. The ranking of students will be based on periodic, half-yearly, or mid-term exams and pre-boards. Pre-boards to carry maximum weightage (40 marks); mid-terms (30 marks) followed by periodic tests (10 marks). The results are scheduled to be announced latest by June 20.
