The Supreme Court on Friday (May 28) adjourned the hearing on a plea pertaining to Class 12th Board exams of CBSE and ICSE. A plea has been filed in the apex court requesting the cancellation of the examinations.
Sources said that the bench comprising Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari adjourned the hearing. The bench has asked the petitioner, to serve an advanced copy to respondents including Centre, CBSE and ICSE. Advocate Mamta Sharma, filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of Class 12th board exams.
Sharma has sought directions to the Centre, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) to cancel the CBSE and ICSE Class 12 examinations.
