A giant cobra was recently spotted inside a toilet in Banki area of Cuttack. The residents thought it would go out on its own, but the snake did not leave the place and stayed inside the bathroom for the entire night.
The next morning the family members could not spot the snake and assumed that it had left. But suddenly, one of the family members noticed that the snake was stuck inside the toilet pan. They then informed the snake helpline following which the rescuer reached the spot and rescued the snake.
L M Panda, Snake Helpline Member said “Earlier, we received information about a cobra being stuck inside a house in Charchika area but there was no further update. Then they contacted Suvendu sir (Snake Helpline General Secretary), and he asked us to go and rescue the snake which was stuck inside a toilet pan.
When we reached the spot, we found that the cobra was stuck inside the Indian toilet pan and tried to take it out. But the snake did not come out easily and we had to dig the area around the pan to rescue the snake.”
