Being At Home With Snakes: Ornaments & Collectibles With A Message

To find a snake so close will make a lot of people squeamish. And to shed that inhibition, an initiative like this has been launched by snake helpline members in Bhubaneswar.

This is one of its kind awareness drives to sensitise people about snakes. Here everything is based on the snake theme. Ornaments, household items & collectibles are designed on snakes to make one feel at home with the reptiles.

From bindi’s to bedlights, all items are designed with an aim to spread awareness about snakes and eradicate the fear surrounding them.

Snake helpline general secretary Suvendu Mallick has also collected a lot of antique items based on the snake theme.

He has collected stamps and coins of different countries with snake imprinted on them. He aims to take his collection to schools where he can create awareness among children.
