Social media sensation Baba Ka Dhaba owner Kanta Prasad is back to where he had started his business.
Last year, Kanta Prasad's street-side eatery became an overnight success when a YouTuber highlighted the post-pandemic grim financial condition of the eighty-year-old on his YouTube channel last year.
The video went viral and Baba Ka Dhaba instantly became famous with thousands of people thronging his Dhaba to buy food. They clicked selfies and gave whatever they could.
Soon, a lot of people donated funds which helped Baba open a new restaurant by the same name, ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ in December 2020 and he even hired three workers to run it.
Well, after a blink-and-miss success, the old man has had to shut his restaurant and return to their roadside eatery shop once again.
According to Kanta Prasad, the restaurant business was unsuccessful as it failed to draw much customers and he was also undergoing losses every month.
Kanta Prasad says that he will now run his old dhaba in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar till he is alive.
