Magic In Marvel! Odia Girl Silvia Mahapatra’s Work In Spider Man ‘No Way Home’ Shines

Popular Marvel franchise’s latest film, Spider Man ‘No Way Home’, has become one of the most successful movies of all time. But did you know that there is someone from Odisha responsible for all the on-screen magic? Yes, you heard that right! A girl from Odisha - Silvia Mahapatra - was a part of the graphics design team of the new movie.

Silvia originally hails from Khallikote in Ganjam district of Odisha. She has worked on several successful Hollywood projects, such as Spider Man ‘Homecoming’, Suicide Squad, Marvel’s Loki, Avenger’s ‘End Game’, ‘Guardians of The Galaxy’, among many others.

Raised abroad, Silvia had received her degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2013. But due to her interest in designing and knowledge in Engineering, Silvia decided to pursue designing full time in 2018 and has been working in Hollywood ever since. Silvia’s achievements have certainly made her family, friends, people in her native place, and in fact all Odias much proud.
