With the rise in popularity of reality television in India, personalities associated with them have also garnered a separate fan base across the country.
Recently, popular survey company Ormax Media shared the list of the most popular non-fiction personalities on TV and you will be surprised to know the personalities topping the chart! Declaring victory over all others, Bollywood director Rohit Shetty has been awarded the top spot for being the top non-fiction television personality currently.
After hosting the immensely popular 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', Rohit has skyrocketed and occupied the top spot. Next in line, is none other than the undisputed comedy king of television Kapil Sharma with his show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' which recently started airing on tv after a hiatus.
But, the most surprising of all are the third and fourth spots, which have been occupied by Indian Idol winner Pawandeep Rajan and runner up Arunita Kanjilal! Even after the reality singing show ended in August, the popularity of the contestants has refused to die down and it is proved by the ranking.
However, the twist in the tale is that both Pawandeep and Arunita beat none other than Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who was conferred the last spot on the list! Only time will tell, if Salman Khan manages to push his way to the top after the much anticipated telecast of 'Bigg Boss 15' in October, which he will be hosting.
