Cine buffs are up for a visual treat on Baisakhi next year as three big films are all set to hit the theaters on that very day – the 14th of April. Aamir Khan on Saturday (November 20) announced that his upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, alongside Kareena Kapoor, will be releasing on April 14, next year.
However, April 14 has also been chosen for the release of two major South Indian movies – the first one is Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ alongside Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu and the second being Yash starrer ‘KGF Chapter 2’ which features Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist.
The KGF sequel also marks the comeback of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon. It is pertinent to mention that while 'Laal Singh Chaddha' is helmed by Advait Chandan, 'KGF 2' and 'Salaar' are directed by Prashanth Neel. Now, since all three movies are highly anticipated releases and helmed by powerful stars, the box office is all set to witness a major storm on Baisakhi next year.
However, it also remains to be seen if director Prashanth Neel would go for release of two of his biggest movies on the same day or change the release dates of one or both of his films to avoid clash with Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan!
