Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati, who played villain Bhallaladev in the magnum opus, is the face of an upcoming WWE campaign in Tamil, Telugu and English.
WWE, which is one of the most viewed properties on the sports channels in India, has been the nursery of international celebrity wrestlers such as Dwayne Johnson and John Cena.
Daggubati recently posed for the upcoming WWE campaign during a shoot at the Railway Sports Complex in Secunderabad. Daggubati donned a WWE championship title and was seen interacting with a group of people.
The Telugu actor also posed on a Harley Davidson and performed stunts with ropes. Pictures from the shoot have gone viral on social media. Commenting on the campaign, the actor said that he hopes it will strike a chord with the native viewers.
On the work front, Daggubati will be seen with Sai Pallavi and Priyamani in the upcoming Telugu movie 'Virata Parvam', which is centred around Naxalite movement in Telangana.
