It is wedding season in the Hindi cine industry as several Bollywood stars are all set to tie the knot this year.
Be it Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal who recently had their roka ceremony on Diwali or Raj Kumar Rao and Patralekha, who have been dating for several years now, wedding bells are ringing loud for many.
However, as per a report by a leading news portal (E Times), fans are in for disappointment as one of the most anticipated jodis who were rumoured to get married in December, might not tie the knot this year. Yes, we are talking about the famous B-Town jodi, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
Contrary to earlier reports which stated that the star couple is likely to get married this year, a source close to the couple revealed that the two want a lavish wedding and thus need more time to plan one. The source stated that "Alia and Ranbir have grand plans for their wedding and that's why they are not going to rush into it. They have been planning their big day for a long time, and it's probably going to take more time."
While the source did not confirm the exact date, it was a clear indication that the wedding is unlikely to culminate this year.
If reports are to be believed, then the couple will most likely tie the knot next year in April owing to work commitments over next few months and fans will have to wait till then to see the gorgeous couple walk the aisle.
