However, on Thursday (October 14), the Odisha School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Das hinted at the likelihood of schools reopening for all after Puja Holidays.
Though schools have reopened for Classes- 9th, 10th and 12th, physical teaching for students of Classes 1 to 8 is yet to commence.
While speaking to media, the minister said that they expect the situation to improve and physical classes to resume for all students after the Puja holidays.
Citing that he is concerned about the students whose schools have not been reopened, he pinned hope that the situation changes and classes resume after holidays.
