After Odisha School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Dash informed that schools might reopen for primary classes soon; the Odisha government announced its decision to begin a state wide awareness drive. This awareness program will be undertaken to protect children against Covid-19 from Nov 20, 2021.
This information was shared by the Chairperson of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Sandhyabati Pradhan on Friday (Nov 5). Reports said that the schools for students of Classes 1 to 7 will be reopened in a phased manner. So, in order to ensure safety of children, the awareness drive will continue for 40 days in all districts of Odisha.
