In a major decision for school students in Odisha, the physical classes of students of Standard 6th and 7th will start from November 15. This information was shared by the School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
As per reports, the teaching hours for class 6th and 7th students will be from 9.30 AM to 1 PM. There will be 3 hours of teaching and half an hour break everyday excluding Sundays. Moreover, students will be allowed to attend either online or offline classes as per their parents consultation.
Attendance will not be mandatory for students attending offline classes and hostels will also be reopened for students. Meanwhile, the officials of Education department across the state are directed to ensure sanitization of the schools before reopening.
