In a major development, Odisha school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday (Nov 3) hinted that schools will reopen in a graded manner.
Speaking to media during his visit to Sambalpur, the minister said that the department is considering reopening schools for Classes 6th and 7th in the first phase.
A decision regarding kicking-off physical classes for students of standard 1 to 5 will be taken in the subsequent phase. The minister is hopeful that all classes would commence by New Year.
The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chennai is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The process of registration will start on July 1, 2022 and continue till September 30, 2022.
Informing about the new courses to be introduced, NCERT Director Prof Dinesh Prasad Saklani said, “Coding and Vocational education will be introduced. They apart, the existing curriculum will be restructured, as per requirement.”
