In a major development, Odisha school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday (Nov 3) hinted that schools will reopen in a graded manner.
Speaking to media during his visit to Sambalpur, the minister said that the department is considering reopening schools for Classes 6th and 7th in the first phase.
A decision regarding kicking-off physical classes for students of standard 1 to 5 will be taken in the subsequent phase. The minister is hopeful that all classes would commence by New Year.
