Intensifying the ongoing stir over delay in NEET-PG 2021 counselling, the Resident doctors of various hospitals in Delhi protested in front of the Nirman Bhawan on Monday (Dec 20).
In the nationwide agitation that has been called by the Federation of Resident Doctors' Association (FORDA), the resident doctors of the three Centre-run and some of the Delhi government-run hospitals boycotted all services including emergency.
As a result, patient care was affected for the fourth consecutive day. The federation resumed its agitation from December 17 after suspending it for a week following the Health Ministry's assurance.
The protesting doctors, carrying banners and posters, held a demonstration and raised slogans, seeking redressal of the issue.
