Recently, Odisha government had ordered a probe for weeding out fake teachers working in schools across the state. The problem though is that such fake teachers are still in schools, putting the future of students in jeopardy.
These fake teachers reportedly enter the teaching system by submitting fake documents such as fake caste, residential, educational and other certificates. However, these people get away with their unlawful antics as their documents are never properly checked.
This has not just risked the lives of children but has also deprived the deserving candidates with proper degrees from getting jobs.
A number of Public Interest Litigations (PIL) filed in the Orissa High Court in this regard has prompted the apex court to direct the government to take necessary measures and remove the fraudulent teachers.
