In a major update for Odisha school students, classes will start for Standard 8 students after Puja holiday. Offline classes for students of Class 11 and 8 will resume in all schools across the state starting from Oct 21 and 25th, respectively. This information was shared by Odisha School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Friday (Oct 15).
The Minister stated that the District Education Officers (DEOs) will be sent the directions for the same tomorrow, that is, on Oct 16.
However, Dash informed that a decision regarding the reopening of classes for students of Classes 1 to 7 will be taken by the department later.
