Amidst the threat of a third wave of Covid-19 owing to the detection of new variant ‘Omicron’, Odisha Health Services Director, Bijay Mohapatra on Wednesday (Dec 22) explained the parameters to be followed to impose containment and restrictions.
The Health Services Director informed that the centre issued an advisory stating that containment measures & restrictions to be followed in case the test positivity in the state exceeds 10 percent in last one week or if the occupancy goes up to 40 per cent or more for oxygen supported or ICU beds.
