In a tragic incident, a car fell off Punama Gate Railway over bridge in Bhubaneswar on Saturday (Jan 22). The car driver reportedly sustained critical injuries and was admitted to the Capital Hospital. Reports informed that the black car was heading towards Bhimatangi from Naveen Niwas area in the wee hours. However, the driver lost control and hit the bridge railing, causing the car to fall off the over bridge.
The government on Wednesday took a decision to restrict vehicles of other states from using the Kalinga Ghat road as the drivers are not accustomed to the hairpin bends of the road.
