At least 30 people sustained injuries after a bus overturned in Sebakapur village under Raygad block of Gajapati district in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The bus, carrying women passengers, was reportedly returning from a wedding ceremony in Paralakhemundi.
All the injured persons are residents of Polasara in Ganjam district. Soon after the incident, police along with fire services personnel rushed to the spot for rescue operation.
While all the injured were rushed to Paralakhemundi hospital, sources informed that five of the passengers whose condition is stated to be critical would be shifted to Berhampur MKCG hospital.

The victim, identified as Saraswati Sethi, succumbed to the injuries while being shifted to SCB medical college and hospital in Cuttack.
