Three Odisha MLAs Suspended For Hurling Shoes, Papers At Speaker’s Podium In Assembly

Ruckus inside the Odisha Assembly took an ugly turn after shoes, papers and microphones were reportedly hurled at the Speaker’s podium over alleged arbitrary passage of bills without discussion. Soon after the incident, Deputy Leader of Opposition Bishnu Sethi, Opposition Chief Whip Mohan Majhi and MLA Jaya Narayan Mishra were suspended from the ongoing session of the Assembly.
