10K Cases In 1 Day? ‘Odisha Covid Situation Will Worsen If Protocols Not Followed’

The second wave of Covid-19 is intensifying across the country. So far Odisha looks in a little safer position when compared to other States where situation has worsened drastically. However, it may not be long before the situation explodes and goes out of control in Odisha. Speaking to media, Dr Ashok Mohapatra, the former director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar, on Monday said that if appropriate Covid protocols are not followed, the daily coronavirus infections in the State may jump past 10,000 in next few months.
