"I work even during...": Here's how a woman bought Rs 7 crore home through relentless hustle

At just 26, a Singapore-based woman has captured the internet’s attention after revealing how she bought a luxury home worth nearly S$1 million (around Rs 7 crore) entirely with her own savings. The woman, identified as Chris, shared her inspiring journey on TikTok on December 20, calling the purchase of her condominium a “dream come true”.

What surprised many was her disclosure that she did not take any financial help from her family. In fact, her parents were unaware of the purchase until the very day she collected the keys to her new home.

Chris, a producer and content creator, revealed that she had made a personal promise to own property before turning 27. Through years of discipline and determination, she managed to fulfil that goal well ahead of time.

In an interview with Singapore-based news outlet Mothership, Chris credited her achievement to starting early and staying focused.

Working Up to 18 Hours a Day

Chris said she currently juggles a full-time job along with freelance photo and video projects. Her daily work schedule ranges between 12 and 18 hours, seven days a week.

“I even work during my gym workouts,” she joked, highlighting the extent of her dedication.

She began working at the age of 14 and started investing seriously by 19, allowing her time to steadily build wealth.

Strict Savings and Smart Choices

Apart from earning and investing, Chris follows a strict budget. She tracks expenses carefully and often opts for S$3 budget meals to avoid overspending.

“I value safety and stability,” she said, adding that her mother instilled independence in her from a young age.
