Sonu Sood appeals people to help Odisha couple in saving their son’s life. Their son Rajveer is suffering from rare illness, spinal muscular atrophy. They need injection worth Rs 16 crore to save Rajveer’s life.

However, doctors at SCB said that the hospital does not have the required facility to treat the child. After being sent back by SCB authorities, the hapless parents are now desperately trying to arrange money for Zolgensma injection which is the only treatment available for their son's condition.

These are the desperate cries of a helpless mother outside Naveen Niwas (CM Naveen Patnaik’s House) to save her son’s life. Tamalika Das was again on the streets on Thursday requesting help for her son Rajveer, who is suffering from the rare condition of spinal muscular atrophy. For treatment of their 18 months old son, they need to administer US-made zolgensma injection within 3 months.

Even though the parents of the baby have been getting help from across the country but it is impossible for them to raise such a huge amount in such a short span of time. So, they have sought help from CM Naveen Patnaik for the treatment.

Unable to arrange such a hefty amount on our own, Rajveer’s parents have been running from pillar to post, trying to arrange the amount to avail the injection.
