Tamil superstar Rajinikanth is looked upon as a Demigod by his fans and admirers. Down in the south, he is forever considered as an icon and inspiration by many existing and aspiring actors. Rishabh is no different. And the words of appreciation coming the icon himself is certainly a great achievement for the Kantara helmer, writer and actor.

Several top guns from the south like R. Madhavan, Siddharth, Dhanus, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Yash et al have made their entry into Bollywood.

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth met Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi on Monday and said that they had discussed politics but refused to divulge details of the discussion.

Superstars Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Suriya and his wife Jyothika, Vijay Sethupathi, director Mani Ratnam and music ace AR Rahman were some of the high-profile guests who attended the wedding of the director with the actress at the Sheraton Grand in Mahabalipuram last month.

Dhanush and Aishwarya, daughter of megastar Rajinikanth, tied the knot in 2004 and are parents to two sons, Yatra and Linga, who were born in 2006 and 2010, respectively.

Over the years, big Bollywood stars have collaborated with the Southern superstars so that they can work with the best and offer something new to the audience.

The 70-year old actor received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award on October 25 and he had also visited President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital.

Odisha bagged three National Awards under the regional film category this year. Filmmaker Nilamadhab Panda was honoured with the National Award for his movie 'Kalira Atita', while director Sabyasachi Mohapatra bagged the award for 'Sala Budhar Badla'.

South Superstar Rajinikanth received the Dadasaheb Phalke award, the highest honour in Indian cinema. The actor received the prestigious award from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Monday.

Earlier on Thursday, Rajinikanth's son-in-law and Tamil actor Dhanush and the superstar's younger daughter and graphic designer, film producer and director Soundarya shared the update on social media.

As the poster reveals, Rajinikanth is standing in a place that seems to be far away from the city. He is surrounded by long spears and Tridents. Apart from Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh is likely to be seen in a pivotal role in the movie Annaatthe produced under the banner Sun Pictures.
