The price of petrol has just hit a high ceiling in the Malkangiri district of Odisha. In breaking all its previous records, the petrol price in Kalimela area of the district has touched Rs 100 per litre of the oil.
With no change in the prices on Sunday, fuel prices remained unchanged on 15 days and increased 15 days so far in the month of May.
Maintaining its rising trend, fuel prices increased again on Friday just after a day of pause with state-owned fuel retailers hiking rates of petrol and diesel by 29 paisa and 34 paisa per litre respectively in the national capital.
