The trophy of FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 finally reached Bhubaneswar on December 25 ahead of the sport’s biggest event in Odisha from January 13.

Later, the World Cup Trophy will tour across all districts in the state before being taken to Sundargarh district, the ‘cradle of Indian Hockey’.

The peddling voyage will move to Koraput and again return to Bhubaneswar after covering a distance of 1,300 km across 10 districts.

The last leg of the tour will be in Rourkela before finally returning to Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar where the finals will be played on January 29, 2023, they said.
