Odisha government had earlier this year announced that the eligible farmers will receive financial assistance of Rs 2,000 twice a year during the next three years on the occasions of Akshaya Tritiya and Nuakhai
The financial assistance will be transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in a special programme at 5 pm tomorrow.
The Odisha cabinet on Monday decided to carry on with the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) scheme for three more years.
