A fire broke out on the third floor of a private nursing home near Purighat Police Station in Cuttack. The blaze started in the ICU, but all eight patients were safely rescued and relocated to the ground floor. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause.

A severe fire erupted in a luxury apartment near Patia chhak, Bhubaneswar, suspected to be caused by an AC unit explosion. Firefighters and police rapidly responded, evacuating residents safely without any casualties. The incident filled the building with dense smoke, impacting visibility and raising alarms among the inhabitants.

Two fire fighting teams have been pressed into service and efforts are underway to douse the flames.

The exact reason that what caused the fire is not clear as of now. However, the entire area has been filled with smoke following the fire mishap at the NTPC plant.

On being informed, three fire tenders reached the spot and launched an operation to control the flame. 

The fire reportedly originated from the Obstetrics and Gynaecology ward where many patients were being treated.

A massive fire broke out at a lubricants depot at Dhamra in Bhadrak on Saturday. In the mishap, lubricants worth lakhs of rupees were reportedly gutted.

As per initial reports, one of the buses reportedly caught fire during welding and soon the flame not only engulfed the entire bus but also spread to four other buses-two on each side, one after another.  

A bus coming from Babu Ghat in Kolkata to Odisha's Paradip reportedly caught fire near Kharagpur on Friday night. 

According to the director of Delhi Fire Services, Atul Garg, a call regarding the blaze at a furniture showroom in Kirti Nagar furniture market at around 6.32 p.m. 

According to an official, the incident happened at around 3.30 pm in the 8-coach DEMU train between Ahmednagar and Narayanpur stations.

The firefighter teams are yet to establish the exact reason behind the fire mishap.
