Olympian and Odisha's ace sprinter Dutee Chand's feud with elder sister Saraswati has taken an ugly turn after the duo locked horns in social media, lashing out at each other publicly on Sunday.
Saraswati's reaction to her sister's social media post couldn't be obtained as her mobile phone was switched off and was also unavailable at her home. On the other hand, Dutee, when contacted, has repeated her stance supporting her claims.

Dutee stood firm on her allegations even after several senior sportspersons of the State criticised her for her Facebook post in which she accused the State government of developing sports infrastructure by spending crores of rupees while neglecting sportspersons
In her post in Odia language, Dutee Chand said that the State government is busy developing sports infrastructure spending by crores of rupees. However, on the other hand, it is neglecting sportspersons.
As per reports, Dutee allegedly participated in an idol immersion procession in Jajpur which was reportedly arranged without the permission of the local administration.
Smruti Ranjan Behera, a reporter of a web channel, has been accused of publishing defamatory content against ace sprinter and Olympian Dutee Chand.
The Commissionerate Police on Friday (September 3) detained a web channel editor against whom Olympian Dutee Chand has filed a defamation and harassment complaint at the Mahila police station. Sudhanshu Rout, the editor of the concerned web channel was picked up from his office in Jharpara, Bhubaneswar this afternoon.
The 25-year-old sprinter had addressed a press conference yesterday where she alleged that the news stories published by the channel had hurt her a lot and she underwent stress which affected her performance at the world class event.
