Hinting at the rebel conundrum which resulted in BJD's defeat in Dhamnagar bypoll, Harichandan said, Raju Das is just the beginning and there are 147 rebels the BJD is set to witness in the coming elections.

The BJP’s candidate Suryavanshi Suraj polled 80351 votes followed by BJD’s choice Abanti Das 70470. From the very first round of the counting, Suraj continued to lead.
Counting of votes for the by-election to Dhamnagar Assembly constituency is under process. The counting will take place on 14 tables in as many as 18 rounds.
The fate of the candidates sealed in the EVM machines will be revealed tomorrow as the counting is all set to start from 8 am on Sunday.
