The city of Ayodhya is undoubtedly a reflection of the golden chapter of India's cultural renaissance. On the eve of Diwali, the ghats of holy river Saryu illuminated with the light of more than 15 lakh earthen lamps, making it one of the grandest events in the history.
The reflection of the diyas in the Saryu river provided a breathtaking view while the laser show lit up the skies. Ayodhya rose in unison to chant 'Jai Shri Ram'.
We have a lot to learn from him because he truly believed in 'Sabka saath sabka vishwas, sabka prayas," The Prime Minister recalled the pandemic and said that every Indian stood with one lamp in hand and we are defeated the darkness of illness. Amidst chants of 'Modi Modi', the Prime Minister reiterated that the character of Lord Ram should be emulated by all since he was a role model for all.
International guests, diplomats, Union Ministers and celebrities are expected to join the Deepotsav festivities on Sunday.
At Kedarnath, the Prime Minister also will inaugurate key infrastructure projects which have been completed, including Saraswati retaining wall Aasthapath' and ghats, Mandakini retaining wall Aasthapath, Tirth Purohit houses and Garud Chatti bridge on river Mandakini at a cost of over Rs 130 crore.
A grand laser light show was witnessed at the famous Deepotsav in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The grand event this year aims at breaking its own previous record in the ‘Guinness World Records’ with as many as 7 lakh 51 thousand earthen lamps in Ayodhya.
Lucknow: The Yogi Adiyanath government of Uttar Pradesh will celebrate the annual Diwali event ‘Deepotsav’ on Saturday with the illumination of 5.51 lakh diyas or earthen lamps.
