The playful interaction took place during Season 3 of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) in Surat. Tendulkar, a core committee member of the league, and Bachchan, owner of the Majhi Mumbai franchise, found themselves in an informal setting that quickly turned into an impromptu game. No bat, no pitch just a table, fingers and a shared sense of fun.

The Moment Goes Viral

Bachchan later shared the video on X, formerly Twitter, delighting fans with the caption: “T 5623(i) – playing finger cricket with the God of Cricket.” The clip shows both legends laughing freely, fully immersed in the game. Bachchan, known for his commanding screen presence, displayed a playful and competitive streak, animatedly discussing scores, while Tendulkar’s reactions were marked by joy and laughter.

A Tie, and a Smile

The friendly contest ended in a tie, with neither icon claiming bragging rights. Bachchan jokingly suggested splitting the trophy, a remark that only added to the charm of the exchange. One moment that particularly resonated with fans was Bachchan’s mock sulk after being declared out, before instantly returning to the game with a smile.

Fans Relive Childhood Memories

Social media was quick to respond, with fans praising the warmth between the two and recalling childhood hand-cricket games played in classrooms and streets. The brief exchange served as a reminder that legends, too, find joy in the simplest of games bringing generations together with a shared smile.
