Virat Kohli To Have Dalma, Saag, Fried Mushrooms In Bhubaneswar!

Curious to know the food preferences of India & Windies Team? Guess what, run-machine and captain of Indian cricket team Virat Kohli is likely to be served dishes like Dalma, Saag and Fried Mushrooms during his stay at Mayfair Lagoon in Bhubaneswar.

The India and West Indies cricket teams and support staff have been lodged at the same hotel. While all the players have given their own preferences, the chefs of Mayfair are excited to let captain Kohli relish the taste of Dalma, Saag and other veg recipes having an Odia touch.

Kohli being a complete vegetarian, here are his food preferences.

Mayfair Hotel's Corporate Chef Nisar Ahmed said to OTV that the Indian team will be served Odia, Indian as well as Chinese cuisines. "Players of Team India prefer both veg and non-veg food. We would like to serve special Odia dishes to them first and rest of the dishes later. But as most of the them prefer Biryani, kabab and tandoori items, we have special Biryanis for them too," he said.

"On the other hand, its Christmas time for West Indians and their team prefers dishes like Roast Turkey, Galantine, Plum Cake & Pudding. Grilled items will be served to them," Nisar said.

India will face West Indies in 3rd and final match of the ODI series to be played at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on December 22.
