Team India has three wins in the bag including a no result and are clear favourites right now in the ongoing World Cup in England. After registering a thumping win against arch-rivals Pakistan, they will be looking to come out with yet another commanding performance when they take on Afghanistan at the Rose Bowl this Saturday.

Making his debut at the WC, all-rounder Vijay Shankar may not have proved his point in the batting department but rose to the occasion to create a record by getting a wicket in his very first delivery.

While opener Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the WC due to thumb fracture, Bhuvi suffered a hamstring niggle and is likely to be rested for next 2-3 matches.

This was followed by Vijay Shankar who was hit on his toe by a Jasprit Bumrah yorker during a training session. However, there is nothing serious, claimed reports coming out of the Indian camp.

Coming back to the game where Vijay Shankar claims he is the best among other players, the BCCI released a video on what VJ does on his off day. "Wordscapes is my favourite game right now. Whenever we get time in the bus, we try to play this. We try to finish as many levels we can. That's how we spend most of our time in the bus."

When asked who else plays and who is the best in the game, VJ said, "Myself, KL and Dinesh Karthik try to finish as many levels we can. I think I am the best in this, for sure."
