“Thank you for the wonderful memories, Andre. Our Knight in shining armour! Your contribution to KKR is one for the books…” SRK wrote, honouring the all-rounder who has been one of the franchise’s biggest match-winners.

Shah Rukh also welcomed Russell’s transition into a ‘power coach’ role within KKR, adding, “Here’s to another chapter in your journey… passing down the wisdom, the muscle and, of course, the power to our boys in purple and gold. Any other jersey would look weird on you, my man. Muscle Russell for life!”
