Odisha laid the foundation for victory with a solid first-innings score of 275 runs, powered by a composed batting effort. Returning for their second innings, Odisha declared at 350 for 5, signalling their confidence and putting Nagaland under immense scoreboard pressure.

The standout performer was Swastik Samal, who struck a brilliant century and was later named Player of the Match for his match-defining innings.
