Ranji Trophy 2019-20: Odisha Registers 4th Win After Nail-Biter Against Haryana

Rohtak: Odisha registered a nerve-wracking win over Haryana to seal its fourth victory in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2019-20 season.

The win has now cemented Odisha's top position in the Elite Group C plate of the Ranji Trophy with 28 points from 4 wins and a draw.

Chasing a target of 179 runs at the difficult batting pitch of Chaudhry Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Rohtak on Monday, Odisha finished off the match with just one wicket to spare.

Odisha bundled out Haryana for 248 runs in their second innings with pacer Suryakant Pradhan knocking five wickets of the hosts for 86 runs.

The visitors had earlier restricted Haryana only for 90 runs in their first innings as Suryakant Pradhan grabbed six wickets. Pradhan was declared Man of the Match for his 11-wicket haul which proved to be the decisive factor in the match.

Odisha will play their next match against Jammu & Kashmir at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, between January 19 and January 22.
