Palaash Muchhal, Smriti Mandhana's wedding: Choreographer Nandika Dwivedi finally shares Instagram story

Music composer Palaash Muchhal and Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana have recently found themselves at the centre of intense online speculation after their wedding was unexpectedly postponed. While the delay was originally attributed to a medical emergency involving Smriti’s father, fresh rumours on social media claimed that Palaash was allegedly involved with a dance choreographer.

Choreographer Nandika Dwivedi, whose name was widely circulated online, issued public statements distancing herself from the controversy.

On Friday, Nandika posted a detailed note on her Instagram Story, rejecting all allegations linking her to the couple’s personal situation. She wrote, “Over the past few days, I’ve seen speculation about my involvement in a situation that has been deeply personal for other people… I want to address and clarify that the assumptions being made about me- particularly the idea that I played a role in disrupting anyone’s relationships - are simply NOT true.”

“It is extremely painful and even more difficult to see how quickly these stories grow without any basis in reality.”

She expressed distress over being dragged into the matter, adding that misinformation had affected her mental well-being.

She further said, “Please understand, this will not be easy for me to come out of. I cannot be falsely accused anymore. I had been receiving threats which family members could see, and that’s why I had made my account private… Please do not take my name further than this; I have nothing to do with any of it.”

“I have sacrificed a lot to come to Mumbai, to work and achieve my goals. Eventually, the truth will find its way,” she concluded.

Amid the unfolding events, Smriti removed her pre-wedding posts from Instagram.
